Cross Country
On Thursday we went out for the cross country at 1:15. We saw the whole school there, right at the front field. I was wondering where we had to sit and that second I saw Alex so I just followed him, but he didn’t know where our class was either. Eventually we found our way to the tarpaulins.
First we saw the year six girls and Dave lined up. Dave is the person who has two blocks of wood and he quickly smashes them to say when it’s time to run. After four races it finally came up to my group, the year four boys. When Dave smashed the blocks together everyone quickly ran as fast as we could. We had to get a good start to run on the outside of the front field but nothing was going to stop me from being in the lead. Alex was just in front of me when we came out of the playground.
Right at the end Alex and I were rushing as fast as we could to the finish line but he just beat me. I want to do cross country again.
